We Provide a Full Range of California Wildlife Removal Services

What problems do wildlife cause?

Most of the calls we get are because homeowners hear animals scurrying around inside the attic or walls. Most of the damage inside a houes or attic is unseen. Rodents like squirrels, mice, and rats often chew on electrical wires. Wildlife such as raccoons, bats, birds, opossums, and rats spread several diseases that humans can and do catch, such as Histoplasmosis, Salmonella, Leptospirosis and more. Many critters leave droppings and urine in an attic or cause mold or odor problems. We also handle animals outside the house. It could be a critter that has dug a large hole next to your house, or a raccoon in your garbage cans, an opossum that is stealing pet food, or a skunk living under your deck, causing an odor problem. Some animals destroy your garden or landscaping. Or perhaps you are simply scared of snakes. Whatever the problem is, our wildlife experts can remove the source of the problem, and prevent it from happening again. We are not a Bakersfield extermination company, nor pest control. Can We Train Crows to Clean Up Litter?
The ideal would be for people to clean up after Bakersfield raccoon removal themselves. Unfortunately, there are just some people who do not care. They discard papers, cans and cigarette buts without a second thought. Crows are exceptionally intelligent creatures and are already found in and around cities. Why not use them to clean up litter? There are several ongoing projects worldwide that are looking into exactly this.

Crows are very motivated by a reward Bakersfield snake removal system. A Dutch study has been utilizing a “vending machine” to test the intelligence of crows. They have found that if you reward them for placing pieces of litter in the machine, they will come back and do it again. They are currently researching whether it would be possible to train crows to pick up discarded cigarette buts. This is a significant problem in European countries. However, the health of the crows is of paramount importance. The study hopes to make people aware of the problem, instead of trying to solve it. Crows are highly sociable creatures and should not be employed to do a job that should not exist in the first Bakersfield rat control place. If people placed their litter in garbage bins instead of flinging it on the street then there would be no reason to teach these creatures to do anything. Maybe, instead of teaching crows' how-to pick-up litter, we should ensure there are enough garbage cans around that people have no reason to litter. Or maybe a big enough fine will motivate them to walk the few steps to the closest bin.

In practice
There are numerous places that have already started using crows to clean up litter. One of these places is a theme park in France. When the crows deposit a small piece of rubbish into the machine, a small piece of food is dispensed. This is, typically how the process would work.

Positives
There are some practical reasons as to why crows would be an effective Bakersfield bat removal solution to the problem. They will not add to the amount of pollution like a gas-powered machine would. Most importantly, they will not need to be paid. Most cities employ people to clean up the garbage that is littering the streets. If birds can be trained to take over the job, it will save taxpayers thousands of dollars a month. The food that the birds will be given will cost a fraction of what the expense is right now.

Is it right?
The Bakersfield bird control question comes down to whether it is morally wrong to train birds to clean up our Bakersfield rodent extermination mess. They are already being pushed out of their natural environment by urban sprawl. Now we want to enslave them to clean up an environment that didn't need cleaning up before we took over. Maybe everyone should just take some responsibility for their own actions.

Deal with an Animal in the Attic as Soon as Possible
Many animals have now adapted to urban living, and some are commonly found in the attics of commercial buildings and homes. When the animal has made a home in the attic, it will destroy the wires, rear its young there and gnaw at the structure. It is known that many attic fires are being started by animals. With the possibility of them starting fires and the diseases that they can carry around, the animals have to be removed as soon as discover them. The signs that you have an animal in the attic include noises in the day or night and the sounds of gnawing and chewing. You may hear animals jumping or running on the attic floor or on a roof. When you discover that you have insulation on the gutter downspout, it may be a sign that you have squirrels in the house.

Prevention is the key when it comes to stopping the animals from entering into the home. You have to contact a professional to help you since they have been trained and have the equipment to handle the animals effectively. If you think that your attic has been invaded by animals, then call us so that we can come and inspect it quickly. We will make it a priority to remove the animals from the attic. When you hear that there are noises in the ceiling during the night, then you may be having squirrels, rats or raccoons.
